The assignment was that I had to choose three animals that represented me and my personality and combine them all into one hybrid animal. The steps that I had to take to complete this animal was I had to choose three animal and get pictures of them, than I had to trace the image using the pen tool once I did that I added details to the outlining to make it look realistic, than after that I had to add color to the images to make it look nice and pretty once that was finished I combined the whole animal together using the group button in illustrator. I was required to create a habitat that the animal I created would live in and I was required to add detail in it and when I was done with every thing I had to complete a reflection. The soft wear that I had used was illustrator.
The three animals that I choose to use were a pig, a tiger and a peacock, the parts that I choose to combine were the tiger face with pig ears, a pig body and a peacock tail. The back ground/habitat that I created for the animal was a grassy place with a little bit of mud at night.
The three animals that I choose represented my personality well I said the I was fierce ,lazy at times, and fun. The pig represented the lazy side of me because pigs are known for being lazy and just laying there and doing nothing all the time. The tiger represented the mean/fierce side of me it says don’t get on my bad said, tigers are known for me killing ,fierce animals. I choose the peacock because it represents the colorful, fun side of me, because peacocks are so fun colorful and beautiful to look at. My back ground environment relates to my animals because tigers like grassy areas and so do peacock and pigs like mud, I just added the night part because I thought it was a nice touch.
Looking at the assignment sheet I think that maybe I deserve like a 3, I think that I did a pretty good job on the assignment I think that I picked three animals that were kind of crazy to combine but in a good way and I wouldn’t change anything about my final piece. I learned how to use the pen tool much better and how to duplicate things that you already did and how to add details to the simplest things this was a very fun project and I liked it a lot.
